Inmarsat SNAC Country Code
For data processing and communications and Inmarsat SNAC and it's dependent areas is represent by a Inmarsat SNAC Country code. Inmarsat SNAC country code is a short numeric geographical code (geocodes) developed by the ISO 3166-1 system. Inmarsat SNAC country code is freqently refered to as Inmarsat SNAC dialing codes or Inmarsat SNAC E.164 calling code.
Inmarsat SNAC Country Code is used when dialing to Inmarsat SNAC from outside Inmarsat SNAC. Inmarsat SNAC Country Code is however not used when dialing within Inmarsat SNAC.
To call Inmarsat SNAC from outside Inmarsat SNAC, you have to dial the your own country's International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Inmarsat SNAC Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number as:
Your Countries International Direct Dialing Prefix (IDD) +870 (Inmarsat SNAC Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Inmarsat SNAC into Inmarsat SNAC, Dial '+' +870 (Inmarsat SNAC Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" can be reached by holding down the "0" key until it turns into a "+". The "+" is universal prefix for all international mobile telephone calls including Inmarsat SNAC)
Inmarsat SNAC International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Inmarsat SNAC to outside the country (Refer to international dialing Inmarsat SNAC code or Inmarsat SNAC international access code). Do not use Inmarsat SNAC IDD when dialing within Inmarsat SNAC.
Inmarsat SNAC National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD) is used when dialing to a destination within the Inmarsat SNAC (Refer to dialing Inmarsat SNAC code). Do not use Inmarsat SNAC National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Inmarsat SNAC into Inmarsat SNAC. Inmarsat SNAC NDD is only used as long distance dialing within the country.
