International Dialing Afghanistan
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Afghanistan. International Dialing Afghanistan Code is also known as Afghanistan International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Afghanistan to outside Afghanistan (sometimes also refers to as Afghanistan international access code). Do not use Afghanistan IDD code when dialing within Afghanistan. By simply using the Afghanistan Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Afghanistan from within Afghanistan. Without this international dialing Afghanistan Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Afghanistan because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Afghanistan from within Afghanistan, you have to dial International Dialing Afghanistan Code or Afghanistan International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Afghanistan Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+93 (International Dialing Afghanistan Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Afghanistan from Afghanistan, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Afghanistan)
On the other hand, when dialing to Afghanistan from outside Afghanistan, a Afghanistan Country Code is used. Afghanistan Country Code however is not used when dialing within Afghanistan.
The other type of code is Afghanistan National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Afghanistan (Refer to dialing Afghanistan code). Afghanistan NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Afghanistan. Do not use Afghanistan National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Afghanistan into Afghanistan.
