International Dialing Anguilla
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Anguilla. International Dialing Anguilla Code is also known as Anguilla International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Anguilla to outside Anguilla (sometimes also refers to as Anguilla international access code). Do not use Anguilla IDD code when dialing within Anguilla. By simply using the Anguilla Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Anguilla from within Anguilla. Without this international dialing Anguilla Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Anguilla because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Anguilla from within Anguilla, you have to dial International Dialing Anguilla Code or Anguilla International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Anguilla Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+1-264 (International Dialing Anguilla Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Anguilla from Anguilla, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Anguilla)
On the other hand, when dialing to Anguilla from outside Anguilla, a Anguilla Country Code is used. Anguilla Country Code however is not used when dialing within Anguilla.
The other type of code is Anguilla National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Anguilla (Refer to dialing Anguilla code). Anguilla NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Anguilla. Do not use Anguilla National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Anguilla into Anguilla.
