International Dialing Bulgaria
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Bulgaria. International Dialing Bulgaria Code is also known as Bulgaria International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Bulgaria to outside Bulgaria (sometimes also refers to as Bulgaria international access code). Do not use Bulgaria IDD code when dialing within Bulgaria. By simply using the Bulgaria Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Bulgaria from within Bulgaria. Without this international dialing Bulgaria Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Bulgaria because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Bulgaria from within Bulgaria, you have to dial International Dialing Bulgaria Code or Bulgaria International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Bulgaria Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+359 (International Dialing Bulgaria Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Bulgaria from Bulgaria, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Bulgaria)
On the other hand, when dialing to Bulgaria from outside Bulgaria, a Bulgaria Country Code is used. Bulgaria Country Code however is not used when dialing within Bulgaria.
The other type of code is Bulgaria National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Bulgaria (Refer to dialing Bulgaria code). Bulgaria NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Bulgaria. Do not use Bulgaria National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Bulgaria into Bulgaria.
