International Dialing Croatia
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Croatia. International Dialing Croatia Code is also known as Croatia International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Croatia to outside Croatia (sometimes also refers to as Croatia international access code). Do not use Croatia IDD code when dialing within Croatia. By simply using the Croatia Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Croatia from within Croatia. Without this international dialing Croatia Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Croatia because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Croatia from within Croatia, you have to dial International Dialing Croatia Code or Croatia International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Croatia Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+385 (International Dialing Croatia Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Croatia from Croatia, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Croatia)
On the other hand, when dialing to Croatia from outside Croatia, a Croatia Country Code is used. Croatia Country Code however is not used when dialing within Croatia.
The other type of code is Croatia National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Croatia (Refer to dialing Croatia code). Croatia NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Croatia. Do not use Croatia National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Croatia into Croatia.
