International Dialing Egypt
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Egypt. International Dialing Egypt Code is also known as Egypt International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Egypt to outside Egypt (sometimes also refers to as Egypt international access code). Do not use Egypt IDD code when dialing within Egypt. By simply using the Egypt Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Egypt from within Egypt. Without this international dialing Egypt Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Egypt because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Egypt from within Egypt, you have to dial International Dialing Egypt Code or Egypt International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Egypt Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+20 (International Dialing Egypt Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Egypt from Egypt, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Egypt)
On the other hand, when dialing to Egypt from outside Egypt, a Egypt Country Code is used. Egypt Country Code however is not used when dialing within Egypt.
The other type of code is Egypt National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Egypt (Refer to dialing Egypt code). Egypt NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Egypt. Do not use Egypt National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Egypt into Egypt.
