International Dialing Guadeloupe
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Guadeloupe. International Dialing Guadeloupe Code is also known as Guadeloupe International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Guadeloupe to outside Guadeloupe (sometimes also refers to as Guadeloupe international access code). Do not use Guadeloupe IDD code when dialing within Guadeloupe. By simply using the Guadeloupe Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Guadeloupe from within Guadeloupe. Without this international dialing Guadeloupe Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Guadeloupe because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Guadeloupe from within Guadeloupe, you have to dial International Dialing Guadeloupe Code or Guadeloupe International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Guadeloupe Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+590 (International Dialing Guadeloupe Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Guadeloupe from Guadeloupe, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Guadeloupe)
On the other hand, when dialing to Guadeloupe from outside Guadeloupe, a Guadeloupe Country Code is used. Guadeloupe Country Code however is not used when dialing within Guadeloupe.
The other type of code is Guadeloupe National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Guadeloupe (Refer to dialing Guadeloupe code). Guadeloupe NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Guadeloupe. Do not use Guadeloupe National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Guadeloupe into Guadeloupe.
