International Dialing Guam
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Guam. International Dialing Guam Code is also known as Guam International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Guam to outside Guam (sometimes also refers to as Guam international access code). Do not use Guam IDD code when dialing within Guam. By simply using the Guam Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Guam from within Guam. Without this international dialing Guam Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Guam because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Guam from within Guam, you have to dial International Dialing Guam Code or Guam International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Guam Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+1-671 (International Dialing Guam Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Guam from Guam, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Guam)
On the other hand, when dialing to Guam from outside Guam, a Guam Country Code is used. Guam Country Code however is not used when dialing within Guam.
The other type of code is Guam National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Guam (Refer to dialing Guam code). Guam NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Guam. Do not use Guam National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Guam into Guam.
