International Dialing Hungary
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Hungary. International Dialing Hungary Code is also known as Hungary International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Hungary to outside Hungary (sometimes also refers to as Hungary international access code). Do not use Hungary IDD code when dialing within Hungary. By simply using the Hungary Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Hungary from within Hungary. Without this international dialing Hungary Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Hungary because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Hungary from within Hungary, you have to dial International Dialing Hungary Code or Hungary International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Hungary Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+36 (International Dialing Hungary Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Hungary from Hungary, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Hungary)
On the other hand, when dialing to Hungary from outside Hungary, a Hungary Country Code is used. Hungary Country Code however is not used when dialing within Hungary.
The other type of code is Hungary National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Hungary (Refer to dialing Hungary code). Hungary NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Hungary. Do not use Hungary National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Hungary into Hungary.
