International Dialing Macedonia
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Macedonia. International Dialing Macedonia Code is also known as Macedonia International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Macedonia to outside Macedonia (sometimes also refers to as Macedonia international access code). Do not use Macedonia IDD code when dialing within Macedonia. By simply using the Macedonia Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Macedonia from within Macedonia. Without this international dialing Macedonia Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Macedonia because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Macedonia from within Macedonia, you have to dial International Dialing Macedonia Code or Macedonia International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Macedonia Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+389 (International Dialing Macedonia Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Macedonia from Macedonia, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Macedonia)
On the other hand, when dialing to Macedonia from outside Macedonia, a Macedonia Country Code is used. Macedonia Country Code however is not used when dialing within Macedonia.
The other type of code is Macedonia National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Macedonia (Refer to dialing Macedonia code). Macedonia NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Macedonia. Do not use Macedonia National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Macedonia into Macedonia.
