International Dialing Mexico
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Mexico. International Dialing Mexico Code is also known as Mexico International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Mexico to outside Mexico (sometimes also refers to as Mexico international access code). Do not use Mexico IDD code when dialing within Mexico. By simply using the Mexico Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Mexico from within Mexico. Without this international dialing Mexico Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Mexico because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Mexico from within Mexico, you have to dial International Dialing Mexico Code or Mexico International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Mexico Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+52 (International Dialing Mexico Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Mexico from Mexico, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Mexico)
On the other hand, when dialing to Mexico from outside Mexico, a Mexico Country Code is used. Mexico Country Code however is not used when dialing within Mexico.
The other type of code is Mexico National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Mexico (Refer to dialing Mexico code). Mexico NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Mexico. Do not use Mexico National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Mexico into Mexico.
