International Dialing Morocco
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Morocco. International Dialing Morocco Code is also known as Morocco International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Morocco to outside Morocco (sometimes also refers to as Morocco international access code). Do not use Morocco IDD code when dialing within Morocco. By simply using the Morocco Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Morocco from within Morocco. Without this international dialing Morocco Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Morocco because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Morocco from within Morocco, you have to dial International Dialing Morocco Code or Morocco International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Morocco Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+212 (International Dialing Morocco Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Morocco from Morocco, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Morocco)
On the other hand, when dialing to Morocco from outside Morocco, a Morocco Country Code is used. Morocco Country Code however is not used when dialing within Morocco.
The other type of code is Morocco National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Morocco (Refer to dialing Morocco code). Morocco NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Morocco. Do not use Morocco National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Morocco into Morocco.
