International Dialing Mozambique
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Mozambique. International Dialing Mozambique Code is also known as Mozambique International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Mozambique to outside Mozambique (sometimes also refers to as Mozambique international access code). Do not use Mozambique IDD code when dialing within Mozambique. By simply using the Mozambique Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Mozambique from within Mozambique. Without this international dialing Mozambique Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Mozambique because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Mozambique from within Mozambique, you have to dial International Dialing Mozambique Code or Mozambique International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Mozambique Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+258 (International Dialing Mozambique Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Mozambique from Mozambique, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Mozambique)
On the other hand, when dialing to Mozambique from outside Mozambique, a Mozambique Country Code is used. Mozambique Country Code however is not used when dialing within Mozambique.
The other type of code is Mozambique National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Mozambique (Refer to dialing Mozambique code). Mozambique NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Mozambique. Do not use Mozambique National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Mozambique into Mozambique.
