International Dialing Niue

This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Niue. International Dialing Niue Code is also known as Niue International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Niue to outside Niue (sometimes also refers to as Niue international access code). Do not use Niue IDD code when dialing within Niue. By simply using the Niue Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Niue from within Niue. Without this international dialing Niue Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Niue because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.

To dial a international number outside Niue from within Niue, you have to dial International Dialing Niue Code or Niue International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Niue Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:

+683 (International Dialing Niue Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.

When dialing from a mobile phone outside Niue from Niue, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Niue)

On the other hand, when dialing to Niue from outside Niue, a Niue Country Code is used. Niue Country Code however is not used when dialing within Niue.

The other type of code is Niue National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Niue (Refer to dialing Niue code). Niue NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Niue. Do not use Niue National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Niue into Niue.
