International Dialing Poland
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Poland. International Dialing Poland Code is also known as Poland International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Poland to outside Poland (sometimes also refers to as Poland international access code). Do not use Poland IDD code when dialing within Poland. By simply using the Poland Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Poland from within Poland. Without this international dialing Poland Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Poland because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Poland from within Poland, you have to dial International Dialing Poland Code or Poland International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Poland Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+48 (International Dialing Poland Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Poland from Poland, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Poland)
On the other hand, when dialing to Poland from outside Poland, a Poland Country Code is used. Poland Country Code however is not used when dialing within Poland.
The other type of code is Poland National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Poland (Refer to dialing Poland code). Poland NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Poland. Do not use Poland National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Poland into Poland.
