International Dialing Swaziland
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Swaziland. International Dialing Swaziland Code is also known as Swaziland International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Swaziland to outside Swaziland (sometimes also refers to as Swaziland international access code). Do not use Swaziland IDD code when dialing within Swaziland. By simply using the Swaziland Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Swaziland from within Swaziland. Without this international dialing Swaziland Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Swaziland because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Swaziland from within Swaziland, you have to dial International Dialing Swaziland Code or Swaziland International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Swaziland Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+268 (International Dialing Swaziland Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Swaziland from Swaziland, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Swaziland)
On the other hand, when dialing to Swaziland from outside Swaziland, a Swaziland Country Code is used. Swaziland Country Code however is not used when dialing within Swaziland.
The other type of code is Swaziland National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Swaziland (Refer to dialing Swaziland code). Swaziland NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Swaziland. Do not use Swaziland National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Swaziland into Swaziland.
