International Dialing Sweden
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Sweden. International Dialing Sweden Code is also known as Sweden International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Sweden to outside Sweden (sometimes also refers to as Sweden international access code). Do not use Sweden IDD code when dialing within Sweden. By simply using the Sweden Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Sweden from within Sweden. Without this international dialing Sweden Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Sweden because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Sweden from within Sweden, you have to dial International Dialing Sweden Code or Sweden International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Sweden Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+46 (International Dialing Sweden Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Sweden from Sweden, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Sweden)
On the other hand, when dialing to Sweden from outside Sweden, a Sweden Country Code is used. Sweden Country Code however is not used when dialing within Sweden.
The other type of code is Sweden National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Sweden (Refer to dialing Sweden code). Sweden NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Sweden. Do not use Sweden National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Sweden into Sweden.
