International Dialing Ukraine
This is the international dialing code used when dialing from Ukraine. International Dialing Ukraine Code is also known as Ukraine International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Ukraine to outside Ukraine (sometimes also refers to as Ukraine international access code). Do not use Ukraine IDD code when dialing within Ukraine. By simply using the Ukraine Dialing Code before the number, it unables you to place a call to outside Ukraine from within Ukraine. Without this international dialing Ukraine Code, you will not able to place a call outside the Ukraine because the telephone exachange will not reconginize it as a valid international call.
To dial a international number outside Ukraine from within Ukraine, you have to dial International Dialing Ukraine Code or Ukraine International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Ukraine Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+380 (International Dialing Ukraine Code) + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside Ukraine from Ukraine, only Dial '+' + (Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" is universal mobile international direct dialing prefix also includes Ukraine)
On the other hand, when dialing to Ukraine from outside Ukraine, a Ukraine Country Code is used. Ukraine Country Code however is not used when dialing within Ukraine.
The other type of code is Ukraine National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Ukraine (Refer to dialing Ukraine code). Ukraine NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Ukraine. Do not use Ukraine National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Ukraine into Ukraine.
