Puerto Rico International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Puerto Rico to outside the country (Refer to international dialing Puerto Rico code or Puerto Rico international access code). Do not use Puerto Rico IDD when dialing within Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rico National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD) is used when dialing to a destination within the Puerto Rico (Refer to dialing Puerto Rico code). Do not use Puerto Rico National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Puerto Rico into Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico NDD is only used as long distance dialing within the country.
