St. Lucia Country Code
For data processing and communications and St. Lucia and it's dependent areas is represent by a St. Lucia Country code. St. Lucia country code is a short numeric geographical code (geocodes) developed by the ISO 3166-1 system. St. Lucia country code is freqently refered to as St. Lucia dialing codes or St. Lucia E.164 calling code.
St. Lucia Country Code is used when dialing to St. Lucia from outside St. Lucia. St. Lucia Country Code is however not used when dialing within St. Lucia.
To call St. Lucia from outside St. Lucia, you have to dial the your own country's International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), St. Lucia Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number as:
Your Countries International Direct Dialing Prefix (IDD) +1-758 (St. Lucia Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
When dialing from a mobile phone outside St. Lucia into St. Lucia, Dial '+' +1-758 (St. Lucia Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. (The "+" can be reached by holding down the "0" key until it turns into a "+". The "+" is universal prefix for all international mobile telephone calls including St. Lucia)
St. Lucia International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the St. Lucia to outside the country (Refer to international dialing St. Lucia code or St. Lucia international access code). Do not use St. Lucia IDD when dialing within St. Lucia.
St. Lucia National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD) is used when dialing to a destination within the St. Lucia (Refer to dialing St. Lucia code). Do not use St. Lucia National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside St. Lucia into St. Lucia. St. Lucia NDD is only used as long distance dialing within the country.
