Dialing Bangladesh

The other type of code is Bangladesh National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Bangladesh. Bangladesh NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Bangladesh. Do not use Bangladesh National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Bangladesh into Bangladesh.

For Bangladesh long distance, you have to dial Bangladesh National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:

+880 (Bangladesh National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.

On the other hand, International Dialing Bangladesh Code or Bangladesh International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Bangladesh to outside Bangladesh. Do not use Bangladesh IDD code when dialing within Bangladesh for long distance.

On the other hand, when dialing to Bangladesh from outside Bangladesh, a Bangladesh Country Code is used . Bangladesh Country Code however is not used when dialing within Bangladesh.
