Dialing Bermuda
The other type of code is Bermuda National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Bermuda. Bermuda NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Bermuda. Do not use Bermuda National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Bermuda into Bermuda.
For Bermuda long distance, you have to dial Bermuda National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+1-441 (Bermuda National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Bermuda Code or Bermuda International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Bermuda to outside Bermuda. Do not use Bermuda IDD code when dialing within Bermuda for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Bermuda from outside Bermuda, a Bermuda Country Code is used . Bermuda Country Code however is not used when dialing within Bermuda.
