Dialing Cuba
The other type of code is Cuba National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Cuba. Cuba NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Cuba. Do not use Cuba National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Cuba into Cuba.
For Cuba long distance, you have to dial Cuba National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+53 (Cuba National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Cuba Code or Cuba International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Cuba to outside Cuba. Do not use Cuba IDD code when dialing within Cuba for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Cuba from outside Cuba, a Cuba Country Code is used . Cuba Country Code however is not used when dialing within Cuba.
