Dialing France

The other type of code is France National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the France. France NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the France. Do not use France National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside France into France.

For France long distance, you have to dial France National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:

+33 (France National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.

On the other hand, International Dialing France Code or France International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the France to outside France. Do not use France IDD code when dialing within France for long distance.

On the other hand, when dialing to France from outside France, a France Country Code is used . France Country Code however is not used when dialing within France.
