Dialing Georgia

The other type of code is Georgia National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Georgia. Georgia NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Georgia. Do not use Georgia National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Georgia into Georgia.

For Georgia long distance, you have to dial Georgia National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:

+995 (Georgia National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.

On the other hand, International Dialing Georgia Code or Georgia International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Georgia to outside Georgia. Do not use Georgia IDD code when dialing within Georgia for long distance.

On the other hand, when dialing to Georgia from outside Georgia, a Georgia Country Code is used . Georgia Country Code however is not used when dialing within Georgia.
