Dialing Guinea
The other type of code is Guinea National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Guinea. Guinea NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Guinea. Do not use Guinea National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Guinea into Guinea.
For Guinea long distance, you have to dial Guinea National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+224 (Guinea National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Guinea Code or Guinea International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Guinea to outside Guinea. Do not use Guinea IDD code when dialing within Guinea for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Guinea from outside Guinea, a Guinea Country Code is used . Guinea Country Code however is not used when dialing within Guinea.
