Dialing Kuwait
The other type of code is Kuwait National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Kuwait. Kuwait NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Kuwait. Do not use Kuwait National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Kuwait into Kuwait.
For Kuwait long distance, you have to dial Kuwait National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+965 (Kuwait National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Kuwait Code or Kuwait International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Kuwait to outside Kuwait. Do not use Kuwait IDD code when dialing within Kuwait for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Kuwait from outside Kuwait, a Kuwait Country Code is used . Kuwait Country Code however is not used when dialing within Kuwait.
