Dialing Liberia
The other type of code is Liberia National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Liberia. Liberia NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Liberia. Do not use Liberia National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Liberia into Liberia.
For Liberia long distance, you have to dial Liberia National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+231 (Liberia National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Liberia Code or Liberia International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Liberia to outside Liberia. Do not use Liberia IDD code when dialing within Liberia for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Liberia from outside Liberia, a Liberia Country Code is used . Liberia Country Code however is not used when dialing within Liberia.
