Dialing Lithuania
The other type of code is Lithuania National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Lithuania. Lithuania NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Lithuania. Do not use Lithuania National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Lithuania into Lithuania.
For Lithuania long distance, you have to dial Lithuania National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+370 (Lithuania National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Lithuania Code or Lithuania International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Lithuania to outside Lithuania. Do not use Lithuania IDD code when dialing within Lithuania for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Lithuania from outside Lithuania, a Lithuania Country Code is used . Lithuania Country Code however is not used when dialing within Lithuania.
