Dialing Luxembourg
The other type of code is Luxembourg National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Luxembourg. Luxembourg NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Luxembourg. Do not use Luxembourg National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Luxembourg into Luxembourg.
For Luxembourg long distance, you have to dial Luxembourg National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+352 (Luxembourg National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Luxembourg Code or Luxembourg International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Luxembourg to outside Luxembourg. Do not use Luxembourg IDD code when dialing within Luxembourg for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Luxembourg from outside Luxembourg, a Luxembourg Country Code is used . Luxembourg Country Code however is not used when dialing within Luxembourg.
