Dialing Malaysia

The other type of code is Malaysia National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Malaysia. Malaysia NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Malaysia. Do not use Malaysia National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Malaysia into Malaysia.

For Malaysia long distance, you have to dial Malaysia National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:

+60 (Malaysia National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.

On the other hand, International Dialing Malaysia Code or Malaysia International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Malaysia to outside Malaysia. Do not use Malaysia IDD code when dialing within Malaysia for long distance.

On the other hand, when dialing to Malaysia from outside Malaysia, a Malaysia Country Code is used . Malaysia Country Code however is not used when dialing within Malaysia.
