Dialing Nauru
The other type of code is Nauru National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Nauru. Nauru NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Nauru. Do not use Nauru National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Nauru into Nauru.
For Nauru long distance, you have to dial Nauru National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+674 (Nauru National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Nauru Code or Nauru International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Nauru to outside Nauru. Do not use Nauru IDD code when dialing within Nauru for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Nauru from outside Nauru, a Nauru Country Code is used . Nauru Country Code however is not used when dialing within Nauru.
