Dialing Nevis
The other type of code is Nevis National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Nevis. Nevis NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Nevis. Do not use Nevis National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Nevis into Nevis.
For Nevis long distance, you have to dial Nevis National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+1-869 (Nevis National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Nevis Code or Nevis International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Nevis to outside Nevis. Do not use Nevis IDD code when dialing within Nevis for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Nevis from outside Nevis, a Nevis Country Code is used . Nevis Country Code however is not used when dialing within Nevis.
