Dialing Niger
The other type of code is Niger National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Niger. Niger NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Niger. Do not use Niger National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Niger into Niger.
For Niger long distance, you have to dial Niger National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+227 (Niger National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Niger Code or Niger International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Niger to outside Niger. Do not use Niger IDD code when dialing within Niger for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Niger from outside Niger, a Niger Country Code is used . Niger Country Code however is not used when dialing within Niger.
