Dialing Norway

The other type of code is Norway National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Norway. Norway NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Norway. Do not use Norway National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Norway into Norway.

For Norway long distance, you have to dial Norway National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:

+47 (Norway National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.

On the other hand, International Dialing Norway Code or Norway International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Norway to outside Norway. Do not use Norway IDD code when dialing within Norway for long distance.

On the other hand, when dialing to Norway from outside Norway, a Norway Country Code is used . Norway Country Code however is not used when dialing within Norway.
