Dialing Palau
The other type of code is Palau National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Palau. Palau NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Palau. Do not use Palau National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Palau into Palau.
For Palau long distance, you have to dial Palau National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+680 (Palau National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Palau Code or Palau International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Palau to outside Palau. Do not use Palau IDD code when dialing within Palau for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Palau from outside Palau, a Palau Country Code is used . Palau Country Code however is not used when dialing within Palau.
