Dialing Paraguay
The other type of code is Paraguay National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Paraguay. Paraguay NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Paraguay. Do not use Paraguay National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Paraguay into Paraguay.
For Paraguay long distance, you have to dial Paraguay National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+595 (Paraguay National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Paraguay Code or Paraguay International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Paraguay to outside Paraguay. Do not use Paraguay IDD code when dialing within Paraguay for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Paraguay from outside Paraguay, a Paraguay Country Code is used . Paraguay Country Code however is not used when dialing within Paraguay.
