Dialing Samoa
The other type of code is Samoa National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Samoa. Samoa NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Samoa. Do not use Samoa National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Samoa into Samoa.
For Samoa long distance, you have to dial Samoa National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+685 (Samoa National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Samoa Code or Samoa International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Samoa to outside Samoa. Do not use Samoa IDD code when dialing within Samoa for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Samoa from outside Samoa, a Samoa Country Code is used . Samoa Country Code however is not used when dialing within Samoa.
