Dialing Singapore

The other type of code is Singapore National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Singapore. Singapore NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Singapore. Do not use Singapore National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Singapore into Singapore.

For Singapore long distance, you have to dial Singapore National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:

+65 (Singapore National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.

On the other hand, International Dialing Singapore Code or Singapore International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Singapore to outside Singapore. Do not use Singapore IDD code when dialing within Singapore for long distance.

On the other hand, when dialing to Singapore from outside Singapore, a Singapore Country Code is used . Singapore Country Code however is not used when dialing within Singapore.
