Dialing Suriname

The other type of code is Suriname National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Suriname. Suriname NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Suriname. Do not use Suriname National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Suriname into Suriname.

For Suriname long distance, you have to dial Suriname National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:

+597 (Suriname National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.

On the other hand, International Dialing Suriname Code or Suriname International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Suriname to outside Suriname. Do not use Suriname IDD code when dialing within Suriname for long distance.

On the other hand, when dialing to Suriname from outside Suriname, a Suriname Country Code is used . Suriname Country Code however is not used when dialing within Suriname.
