Dialing Tajikistan
The other type of code is Tajikistan National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Tajikistan. Tajikistan NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Tajikistan. Do not use Tajikistan National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Tajikistan into Tajikistan.
For Tajikistan long distance, you have to dial Tajikistan National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+992 (Tajikistan National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Tajikistan Code or Tajikistan International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Tajikistan to outside Tajikistan. Do not use Tajikistan IDD code when dialing within Tajikistan for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Tajikistan from outside Tajikistan, a Tajikistan Country Code is used . Tajikistan Country Code however is not used when dialing within Tajikistan.
