Dialing Zimbabwe

The other type of code is Zimbabwe National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Zimbabwe. Do not use Zimbabwe National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Zimbabwe into Zimbabwe.

For Zimbabwe long distance, you have to dial Zimbabwe National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:

+263 (Zimbabwe National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.

On the other hand, International Dialing Zimbabwe Code or Zimbabwe International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Zimbabwe to outside Zimbabwe. Do not use Zimbabwe IDD code when dialing within Zimbabwe for long distance.

On the other hand, when dialing to Zimbabwe from outside Zimbabwe, a Zimbabwe Country Code is used . Zimbabwe Country Code however is not used when dialing within Zimbabwe.
