Nicaragua Country Code
For data processing and communications and Nicaragua and it's dependent areas is represent by a Nicaragua Country code. Nicaragua country code is a short numeric geographical code (geocodes) developed by the ISO 3166-1 system. Nicaragua country code is freqently refered to as Nicaragua dialing codes or Nicaragua E.164 calling code.
Nicaragua Country Code is used when dialing to Nicaragua from outside Nicaragua. Nicaragua Country Code is however not used when dialing within Nicaragua.
To call Nicaragua from outside Nicaragua, you have to dial the your own country's International Direct Dialing prefix (IDD), Nicaragua Country Code, City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number as:

When dialing from a mobile phone outside Nicaragua into Nicaragua, Dial '+' +505 (Nicaragua Country Code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call. Nicaragua National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD) is used when dialing to a destination within the Nicaragua (Refer to dialing Nicaragua code). Do not use Nicaragua National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Nicaragua into Nicaragua. Nicaragua NDD is only used as long distance dialing within the country.
