Dialing Bulgaria
The other type of code is Bulgaria National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Bulgaria. Bulgaria NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Bulgaria. Do not use Bulgaria National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Bulgaria into Bulgaria.
For Bulgaria long distance, you have to dial Bulgaria National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+359 (Bulgaria National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Bulgaria Code or Bulgaria International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Bulgaria to outside Bulgaria. Do not use Bulgaria IDD code when dialing within Bulgaria for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Bulgaria from outside Bulgaria, a Bulgaria Country Code is used . Bulgaria Country Code however is not used when dialing within Bulgaria.
