Dialing Cambodia
The other type of code is Cambodia National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Cambodia. Cambodia NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Cambodia. Do not use Cambodia National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Cambodia into Cambodia.
For Cambodia long distance, you have to dial Cambodia National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+855 (Cambodia National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Cambodia Code or Cambodia International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Cambodia to outside Cambodia. Do not use Cambodia IDD code when dialing within Cambodia for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Cambodia from outside Cambodia, a Cambodia Country Code is used . Cambodia Country Code however is not used when dialing within Cambodia.
