Dialing Cameroon

The other type of code is Cameroon National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Cameroon. Cameroon NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Cameroon. Do not use Cameroon National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Cameroon into Cameroon.

For Cameroon long distance, you have to dial Cameroon National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:

+237 (Cameroon National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.

On the other hand, International Dialing Cameroon Code or Cameroon International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Cameroon to outside Cameroon. Do not use Cameroon IDD code when dialing within Cameroon for long distance.

On the other hand, when dialing to Cameroon from outside Cameroon, a Cameroon Country Code is used . Cameroon Country Code however is not used when dialing within Cameroon.
