Dialing Guadeloupe
The other type of code is Guadeloupe National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Guadeloupe. Guadeloupe NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Guadeloupe. Do not use Guadeloupe National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Guadeloupe into Guadeloupe.
For Guadeloupe long distance, you have to dial Guadeloupe National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+590 (Guadeloupe National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Guadeloupe Code or Guadeloupe International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Guadeloupe to outside Guadeloupe. Do not use Guadeloupe IDD code when dialing within Guadeloupe for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Guadeloupe from outside Guadeloupe, a Guadeloupe Country Code is used . Guadeloupe Country Code however is not used when dialing within Guadeloupe.
