Dialing Hungary
The other type of code is Hungary National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Hungary. Hungary NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Hungary. Do not use Hungary National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Hungary into Hungary.
For Hungary long distance, you have to dial Hungary National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+36 (Hungary National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Hungary Code or Hungary International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Hungary to outside Hungary. Do not use Hungary IDD code when dialing within Hungary for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Hungary from outside Hungary, a Hungary Country Code is used . Hungary Country Code however is not used when dialing within Hungary.
