Dialing Lebanon
The other type of code is Lebanon National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Lebanon. Lebanon NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Lebanon. Do not use Lebanon National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Lebanon into Lebanon.
For Lebanon long distance, you have to dial Lebanon National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+961 (Lebanon National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Lebanon Code or Lebanon International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Lebanon to outside Lebanon. Do not use Lebanon IDD code when dialing within Lebanon for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Lebanon from outside Lebanon, a Lebanon Country Code is used . Lebanon Country Code however is not used when dialing within Lebanon.
