Dialing Lesotho
The other type of code is Lesotho National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Lesotho. Lesotho NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Lesotho. Do not use Lesotho National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Lesotho into Lesotho.
For Lesotho long distance, you have to dial Lesotho National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+266 (Lesotho National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Lesotho Code or Lesotho International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Lesotho to outside Lesotho. Do not use Lesotho IDD code when dialing within Lesotho for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Lesotho from outside Lesotho, a Lesotho Country Code is used . Lesotho Country Code however is not used when dialing within Lesotho.
